Thanksgiving

     We hosted Thanksgiving this year and Daniel made sure to pull out all the stops! Daniel had to work but got to come home just in time to greet our first guests. We had almost half of the Bartholomew clan coming so we rearranged the rooms to accommodate. Unfortunately, the room didn't allow us to use our table to its fullest, so we had some diners in the kitchen, but with the window cutout, it didn't feel so much like another room. Everyone was bringing a dish or two so I went a little crazy on appetizers. There were a few allergies to contend with so I took my sister-in-law shopping with me to make sure I got safe food. We went to several shops over 2 days and had a blast. 

    We had a drink bar with Italian sodas, apple cider, and raspberry cranberry juice.

The pickle dip was a huge success.

The kids loved playing with the wax from the baby-bells.

Teddy loves fancy glasses.

I put my Brother-in-law to work! He hadn't really done it before, but he did a great job.

Later on, we played some games.

Had pie.

And a few lightsaber battles.

We had fun storming the castle! It was a fun night.
