Bremerton Ho!

Lizzy left with Jessica to go to girl's camp with her cousins. Which was wonderful, but then we had to go pick her up. So off to Bremerton we went! Of course, we had to visit the bug museum and then we went to the navy museum downtown.

Apparently, all the food places shut down at 2 pm so we had ice cream and subway.

I had bought these chocolates to try over the fourth, but we didn't get to them due to it being Fast Sunday. So we had a tasting at Jessica's. The toffee was the clear winner.

On the way home, we took the ferry since most of my kids hadn't been on one yet. Crazy I know!

Getting off the ferry was an adventure. I forgot to put in the side mirrors, so we lost the passenger side one. Luckily it didn't break and I was able to reattach it once we stopped. I went against my better judgment and took the signs for the freeway since I hadn't driven in Seattle for years. It was a nightmare getting to the freeway! Luckily we made it with only angering a few people.
Then we stopped at Boehms for a treat. The walking tour has videos now so that was fun!

I remember stopping here when I was a kid, I love sharing those memories with my kids.

Goldendale Community Days

Our downtown had a celebration on July 10. It was fun to greet our neighbors and see some fun vehicles. The highlight for the kids was the bouncy house.

The kids tried roping.

There was a good old-fashioned parade with candy and flags. One float even threw boxes of girl scout cookies! It was so fun.

Easter

I found a Baptist church that hosted an egg hunt. We went and it was so much more, they had games and they fed us lunch. It was nice.  Lizz...
