Just for Fun

     Charles wanted to go to the park, there's a park near where he is doing his pt. I took Teddy there, and he joined us to show off his climbing skills. 

    Lizzy had a board party for her activity night. Everyone brought a different themed board. Lizzy chose fruity candy. There was a fries board, a chocolate board, and a regular charcuterie board. I think hers turned out so pretty!

 

    Emily finally got her chance to shine, the rescheduled Spiro competition finally took place. It was fun to cheer her on. I have no idea how they score these, so it was difficult to know how good a job they did. We had 2 teams this year, and the second team won and is going on to state. Emily was sad not to go, but she's happy for her friends.

Later that night, Daniel, Lizzy, Emily, and I went back to the high school to see:

    I have loved the books and the original series, but I had never seen the play before. It was well done, but I missed the bits they had to overlook due to time. They had period concessions too. Emily particularly liked the raspberry cordial. It was fun. 

    Since Lizzy is going to State this year, she had to make good on an old bet. She and Aubry had to dye their tips purple. 

    I hosted book club, and we were discussing Persuasion, so I made a cream tea for our discussion.

It was a fun night with great discussion. It was fun bringing out the china.
