I signed us all up for a fishing family event at Burr Oak. It was a fun time for the most part. Devon was ready to quit after he pulled in a bluegill. Teddy was quickly bored as well, but it was fun. Everyone caught a fish except for Charles and Teddy.
School is quickly approaching, and that means new school clothes. After a busy morning of fishing and a Home Depot kid workshop, we outfitted everyone, leading to an impressive receipt!
We went to the library to drop off our stuffies for a sleepover.
Then we went to the theater to watch Muppet's Treasure Island. We did our best pirate impression.
Teddy made his first dinner!
Later we went back to the library for Camp Half-blood. It was fun. We had to exit a labyrinth, make a laurel crown, paint a rock, and have our parentage revealed.
Lizzy also got her first car! A cute little vibe hatchback. She worked so hard for it, and is still in sticker shock from all the extra fees, like taxes and registration. She had to declare her personal property. Being an adult can be very pricey sometimes.
I'm so proud of her. She has worked for over a year to afford it.
