On Tuesday, I took Teddy and the girls to Burr Oak to play. It was a bit too cold to walk the trails but the center is quite fun. Teddy and Brandy had a great time.
Then Jessica demonsrtrated the "correct way" to eat Nerds. Apparently you need to lick it out of the box like a kitten lapping milk until the the box dissolves.
Daniel observed that he was meeting Brandy for the first time at the exact age he met Charly for the first time. That really took me back. Jessica had to leave the next day. Charly and Austin came to take her to the airport. It was bitter sweet to say goodbye, but I get to meet up with her in a few weeks. Luckily having Charly closer means we may see her more!
That evening Daniel and I went to see Matt Dinnamin and Jeff Hays. Matt writes the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and Jeff does all the voices for the audio books. It was hilarious and a lot of fun. We were way up in the balcony.
The people in the third row kept turning people away due to the sound box blocking the view.
