Happy 18th

On June 2nd Daniel and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. The kids were sweet and made a cake. Devon made it and Lizzy decorated it. It landed on a Sunday this year so we dressed in our wedding colors.

Daniel took me out to a Castle for dinner. Its called the Wandering Vine.

It was delicious and our waiter was so nice.

Since we were celebrating our anniversary the propieter came over and shared her wisom of 43 years of marraige. She gave us this rose in a tiny carafe, and said that if ever they were mad at each other they filled a carafe with wine and each took turns drinking from it until either they forgave eachother or were too drunk to let it bother them anymore. If you reach the bottom and still feel mad, you just refill the carafe and continue on. I had to laugh. She was very nice. Happy Anniversary Daniel!

May Continues!

Devon graduated from elementary school. It was a sweet ceremony. They sang A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. They combined it with a DARE graduation.

When you graduate, you get to decorate a ceiling tile. This was Devon's design. He worked with 3 other students to complete it.

I got to see him walk out for the last time. The unicycle club led the way.

The ward had a park day, so we went to Pink Hill Park to play.

To celebrate my in-law's anniversary, we had a small family gathering and went to NaDene's grave. It was a beautiful day and I loved being with everyone. Grace decorated her grave.

On another park day, most of the parks have splash pads which is wonderful!

We also celebrated Daniel's birthday just the way he wanted, with very little fanfare. I made his cookies and he had a regular day. As much as I love celebrating, I know he doesn't, so I try to just give him enough to know we are happy to celebrate his milestones without going overboard. Happy birthday Daniel!

Teddy Turns Three!

We have a three-year-old in the house! He is deep in his construction vehicle phase. He loves the toys Grandma and Papa got him. He even sleeps with them!

Bubbles!

He asked for a strawberry cake with white frosting and fire on top! I was happy to comply.

A Little Moon Magic
