Mother May I

Since Mother's Day was coming up, the activity day girls had a mother-daughter paint night. Teddy came with us and thoroughly enjoyed painting. Emily decided we should paint the house.

I painted the left side. Emily did the right. It was fun. Next, Daniel took me to the Ballet. We saw Fusion at the Kauffman Center. They performed 4 dances: Tulips and Lobster, choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, choreographed by William Forsythe. Celts, choreographed by York. And hold on tight, was a world premiere by Caroline Dahm.

Since we attended on opening night, we saw the first performance of the last one. It was an interesting experience. I didn't like the first dance, but loved the second one. The use of light was fun, and I am in awe of their fly system.

The theater was so colorful and had a fabulous view.

We took the kids to a new park: Waterfall Park. Unfortunately, the waterfall isn't really in the park; it's next to the road, so we drove by it slowly instead of letting the kids get near it. But the park was fun. It had an organic vibe and fun walking trails. Lizzy took a few good pictures of the waterfall.

It was a beautiful day, and the kids had a great time.
