Birthday Visit

 My parents got to come up for mine and Devon's birthdays. It was so fun. Since we hadn't got our Christmas tree yet, we took them to my favorite tree farm.








Charles, Lizzy, and Papa took turns cutting it down.







       Then we went to the Goldendale Observatory for Devon's birthday. The presentation on the Sun was fun, but a little too long for my kiddos. It was 2 hours. Emily fell asleep after a walk outside in the middle of the lecture.












    Then we went home to celebrate. Devon asked Lizzy to decorate his cake with a NERF gun. Of course, we had a pinata, but I didn't think it through so poor Daniel held it while the kids smacked it. Oops.
