With the Church's new emphasis on Easter, our ward hastily pulled together a Passover experience for us. It was interesting. It started almost 30 minutes late, which was a hard thing for the kids; everything was thrown together, and you could tell. At one point, a new family joined us, so our host started all over for them. I had a hard time keeping Henry entertained. Afterwards, it was a free-for-all of desserts in the cultural hall. 2 of us got hit in the head with a basketball. I was quite upset.
On the Saturday before Easter, we hit Home Depot for the kids' workshop, and then we went to our customary egg hunt. We were early, so we stopped for a bit at a nearby park. I love seeing my kids play together.
Lizzy wandered over to the face-painting table and casually took over. Teddy threw a fit and wouldn't get eggs; Henry threw a fit because Devon pulled him down in the bouncy house. But after all that, we had a great time, and the kids got soo many eggs!
This year we also had a night visit from the Easter Bunny.
The next morning.
We dyed eggs in between conference sessions.
