I have not been 100% for a while now and as I was visiting my sister in VA she told me to do something about it, so I went to a doctor apt and he suggested I meet with a behavior health specialist. I did and she was amazing. After our meeting, I realized I needed to try to do the things that bring me joy again so I threw together a tea party for Emily. Sort of an apology for not doing a birthday party for her. I spent 2 days cooking and made wayyyyyy too much. Only 2 girls showed up, but we had a grand time.
Lizzy served, she offered to when I said I was going to do this. It was so nice of her. After eating the girls decorated bonnets. They were so excited to be able to use a glue gun on their own.
Lizzy got crafty too!
Playing at a friend's house.
We had to go to the pool! this was our only chance this year.
Taking advantage of the summer sun.
The soccer team starts the season off with a midnight practice. As the weather was foul, we had it indoors. They had just refinished the floors and it was still a bit sticky, there was even a poor bug stuck in the varnish! It was fun to watch them warm up. It was supposed to be a black light theme so they are brightly decked out.
