New Years Eve

I had some Christmas crackers leftover from last year and forgot about them until after Christmas, so I decided to start the tradition of New Years' eve crackers.







We had crepes for dinner.


On my way home from Costco I saw this house fire. It was massive. I hope they got out okay.

Winter Play Time

 With Christmas over, we headed up to Bremerton to play with the Martins! We went on a scavenger hunt to find Santa's lost reigndeer.


One clue led us to this Mexican restaurant in Keyport so we stopped for lunch. It was really good!





Next, on to Poulsbo and the famous Sluy's bakery.







There was another clue so I stayed with the younger kids at the park while the older ones figured it out. We really liked this new sword art installation.

We had a cousin's white elephant gift exchange. I had the kids buy their stuff and bring it up. Jess had planned for us to go shopping together, but since it snowed on us they just found things to wrap up. 
Teddy didn't know what to make of it.

  It was a fun visit. I'm so glad we got to see Charly for a bit before she shipped off again. She's a full-fledged Marine now! 





Evel Knievel

     Daniel told me that there was an Evel Knievel  Museum  in  Topeka, KS, but it was being relocated to Las Vegas in a month. I had to go ...
