Black's Visit

 The blacks were making their way westward and we were so excited to meet up with them. We had been planning this visit for a few years, but COVID messed with those plans. In the end, we only were able to get together for a few hours, but Daniel was determined to make those hours epic. Since they were coming down from the tri-cities area I suggested we meet in the middle at Granger. 

 Granger is known as the dinosaur town. Every June the city gets together and builds a new dinosaur. It sounded fun and we had been meaning to go there so this felt serendipitous. It was about an hour from each of us, smack dab in the middle. 

 We arrived a little early and got a text that the blacks were running a little late, so we explored the park. The sprinklers were on, which was interesting since it was around 10 am, but we assumed they would be going off any moment. We assumed erroneously. They never shut off, and when we left town the other green spaces had their sprinklers going well after 3 pm. Weird.  










Daniel got lightsabers so we could have an epic battle after lunch.

     Daniel told me that there was an Evel Knievel  Museum  in  Topeka, KS, but it was being relocated to Las Vegas in a month. I had to go ...
