Our saga of displacement continues..... Daniel and I had gone down to Goldendale to view properties and put an offer on a house, it was a little small, but on 20 acres and had several other outbuildings. We found out that there was a counteroffer so we backed out. I was unsure what to do, there was a dome house that Daniel was really excited about, but after touring it I was not so excited. Luckily the Lord had a better plan for us. Our realtor knew the family that was moving out of a house and got us in to tour it right away. Daniel Marco poloed me a tour and we put in an offer that night.
We couldn't close until Oct 9 so we had to wait a bit to move in. It was hard on Daniel because he was living in a company house in Roosevelt with a few co-workers and his room wasn't guaranteed. He was raring to move into our new abode. I went down to sign papers and then went back to pack up our van with all our stuff from my parent's house. I also slammed my foot into the door frame and bruised it real good, so moving was extra fun.
Exploring the new property.
We had to get help unloading all the storage units. Luckily the ward stepped up and the Martins were there to help too. We ended up having to take 2 trips to get it all here. We have so much junk!
We stayed at a nice Airbnb in the Dalles the night prior to moving in. It was a nice break.
Next comes the hard part, moving in.
