Giving Thanks

We had a wonderful thanksgiving with the Martins. We had our traditional sushi made by Rex and the kids. This is my favorite tradition. So Delicious!

Then I went to my Mom's house to roast the bird. Mom and I had to go to Fred Myers just before it closed for a meat thermometer.  Since it was Charles' birthday as well we had cupcakes and a pinata.

All Charles wanted was this skateboard.

Papa shark came to help.

The next day we went to the Undersea Museum. My kids haven't been there before. They had changed things around since I had been there last. It was fun.

Then we went to Poulsbo to see Santa and visit the aquarium.

This is Halloween

Our October went pretty fast. We didn't get to the pumpkin patch until the 27th. This year we went back to Pomeroy Farm. I love this historic working farm. The 4th graders get a real detailed tour and so Lizzy was a little upset that they did things differently for us regular folks. One day I will go on that tour! The forecast called for rain, but it was beautiful and warm. We had a grand time.
Henry wanted out of that wheelbarrow so badly!
I love Emily's look of glee!

Then we got to carving!
